AIS SUMMIT

The 1. AIS SUMMIT in June 2011 was a great success. Expert participants from all over the world listened to top presentations. Intensive discussion took place during the conference and the accompanying events. The atmosphere conveyed a feeling of a friendly and adventurous global AIS community. Thank you all for your contributions.

Quite some participants asked: “When will you do it again? I will definitely come!” Yes, we will hold a second AIS SUMMIT, it will be in 2013 and we are already looking forward to another exciting conference.

The usage of AIS related technology is increasing constantly. AIS Summit brings together people from different regions and fields of this technology.

It is the only industry event where you can find providers and users in one place. The conference will be hosted in close cooperation with MS&D exhibition and Conference. Our Delegates have free entrance to the MS&D exhibition and can enter the conference at a discount rate.

Day 1 (Legal & Technical Aspects)

After introductory Technical and Legal lectures AIS-Network Operators from Terrestrial and Satellite AIS explain their work and visions. Learn  about and discuss the different approaches and opportunities they see for the industry and the technology. The day is completed after a round table discussion with a Beer. AGENDA

Day 2 (Usecases)

Understand & Learn Usecases from different fields and positions.  Learn how the technology can be used for different kinds of businesses and discuss opportunities, risks and limitations when using AIS informatio.  AGENDA

MS&D

The MS& D Conference with high-calibre speakers from the senior levels of numerous navies of the international community of states, from coastguards, police forces and international organisations takes places next door. Speakers and Delegates can visit the exhibition free of charge and can join the conference session with a discount rate.

Harbour Boat trip

After Day 2 you can take an interesting trip through the port of hamburg and relax from the discussions. It is the third largest in Europe. In its role a port city hamburg has developed parnerships and trading relations with cities all over the world. Hamburg people proudly describe it as the „door to the world“.
